Terms and Conditions for Holiday Skate Camp
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- No refunds will be entertained for camps that are affected by adverse weather conditions. Replacement sessions will be in place for such instances.
- The Beginner Camp is conducted in a sheltered environment and not affected by adverse weather conditions, hence it will not be cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
- The Advanced and Excursion Camps are affected by weather conditions and will be cancelled in such instances. Participants can have to option to have a replacement on another camp day during the period of the HSC or at future HSCs subjected to availability.
- The decision to cancel the camp will be at the discretion of the Coach with safety and suitability being taken into consideration. The decision will be supported with information from weather forecasts and live weather conditions.
- If the participant is unwell, please allow the participant to skip the camp and seek medical treatment. Please note that no refund or replacement will be entitled for medical reasons if the camp proceeded as scheduled.
- In the event if camp cancellation is necessary (only for Advanced/Excursion Camps) you will be given a cancellation notification via Whatsapp at least 60 minutes before the camp commencement time. We will base our assessment and decision on weather conditions data provided on the NEA weather forecast website.
- No compensation will be entertained for participants who miss the camp due to personal reasons if the camp proceeded as scheduled.
- For Advanced/Excursion Camps, the participant should bring along a bag pack containing a water bottle, snacks (optional), money (if they prefer to buy commercial products), footwear, umbrella and Ezylink card. The footwear and Ezylink card is to facilitate our traveling on public transport.
- If bad weather occurs midway into the conduct of the Advanced or Excursion camps, the Coach will have the discretion to stop the camp (stop the skating activity). The camps will be considered as complete and no compensation will be given for remainder time. The Coach will assess the situation accordingly in the best interest of safety considerations for the campers.
PUNCTUALITY & ATTENDANCE
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the camp.
- For Beginner Camps, we will commence at Punggol Waterway Terraces 1.
- For Advanced Camps, we will depart from Punggol Linear Park and skate in the Punggol/Seng Kang vicinity.
- For Excursion Camps, we will depart from Punggol MRT Station and travel to the starting point via public transportation. We will return back to Punggol MRT Station via public transport.
- No time extension will be given for late comers. Please avoid this as it will affect the overall conducting of the camps and other participants.
CANCELLATION & COMPENSATION POLICY
- No refunds will be given once a camp booking is confirmed.
- Only Advanced Camp participants can opt to replace their camp day on another camp day within the HSC period or in the future camp dates if available, in the event of camp cancellation due to bad weather.
- Advanced Camps are not allowed to be replaced with an Excursion Camp or vice versa in the event of cancellation.
SAFETY
- All campers must wear ALL the safety gears and helmet during the camp. Failure to comply may result in withdrawal from the camp.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Payment must be completed before the camp closing date via PayNow or Paylah together with the successful submission of the online registration from.
- Ensure that you have completed the online registration and indemnity form before the camp. One form per participant.
- No discount will be given for campers who choose to use own equipment.
- No refund or compensation will be given for participants who pull out of camp due to personal reasons (including medical).
- Socks are mandatory and self-provisional. Absence of socks may cause the feet to have abrasions. Long socks are preferred.
- Bring water for hydration. Option to purchase water commercially is available if participants bring their own money for such purchases.
- Wear cool and light clothing.
- Wearing of arm socks, long sleeves or pants is at the discretion of the participant as the protective gears may slide out of position on the fabric.
- Sunscreen or sun blocks are recommended.
- Location of camp venue are subjected to changes at the discretion of the Coach and you will be given ample notification prior to the camp should this occurs.
